In the same city of San Andres de Giles, we have our own 17-hectare farm dedicated to the production of suckling pigs. The circuit begins in the rooms where the pigs are served; setting up in a very short time an artificial insemination system which will allow a better control and greater efficiency, once their pregnancy is confirmed they are taken to the gestation room where they remain until they give birth. This room consists of an automatic feeding system which allows 500 mothers to be seen to simultaneously, two days before the date of giving birth they are taken to the delivery room, equipped for this process to be carried out in an ideal atmosphere. 18 days after birth the suckling pigs are taken to the breeding room, where they self-feed to reach an ideal weight in 40-50 days.

At present, there are an important number of mothers being produced to satisfy part of the company`s demand. All the animals are hybrids, developed by avant-garde genetics and fed on highly qualified products, that being the reason why we achieve a final product of such excellent quality, of high level meat with very low fat content which has a high demand from our clients. We have a food production plant that makes it possible for us to guarantee the correct diet and nutrition of the animals, turning to neither supplementary chemicals nor meat-made products. That is why the pigs on our farm being lean specimen and of excellent quality, achieve a better flavour and development.

Dealing within a strict health control is one of the foundation pillars of our farm, reason why there are access barriers to the premises and adequate clothes must be worn by visitors to our facilities.
